Berlin, Germany — October 22, 2015 — Online photo lab WhiteWall has introduced a new product aimed at photography lovers who want to display their work in a more natural context. WhiteWall, which is the sole supplier to the renowned LUMAS galleries, now offers its signature gallery-quality real photo prints mounted on wood.
At WhiteWall.com, customers can choose from - natural plywood or anthracite-gray MDF backing, both of which are about ¾” thick. The plywood option is perfect for landscape photography, while the dark MDF panel creates the impression of an understated frame, making it a fantastic accent for black-and-white photography. Both variations are available with a matte or glossy finish. Customers can choose from a range of formats, up to a maximum size of 36”x24”.
The prints are developed using a traditional photochemical process on high quality Fuji Crystal DP II photo paper. A UV film is then added to provide additional protection from fading due to light exposure, smudges, or small splashes of water. The product is completed with an integrated hanging system.
